Willie gets up at about 6 am with us when we let him out of his crate where he sleeps overnight. He is always very excited to see us and loves some pets before going out to potty. He comes in and is offered food, but sometimes he'd rather be by our sides than eat! He is out in the house for a couple of hours while we get ready for work. He enjoys sitting on the couch with us while we have coffee :) And then he follows one of us around before we leave for the day. Willie is crated during the day. He does whine sometimes when he goes in, but he will settle down before we go. When we arrive home, he's beyond happy to see us! Potty time and then dinner! He is out in the house the rest of the night until we go to bed. He plays, but mostly just craves being with us and whatever we're doing.
Willie is extremely friendly and adaptable. He stayed with a sitter the first couple of days and then transitioned right into our home with ease. It's like he's always been here! Willie has not been around children while with us.
Willie is pretty chill and requires little exercise. The sitter did take him for long walks with her dog and he did great. He does well on a leash. He is a curious little man and loves being outside to see what's going on.
Willie seems to do great with other dogs. The sitter had dogs and had no issues. We have a French Bulldog and he was at ease with her instantly He was a little more cautious with our son's large (80lb) Golden Doodle but within a couple of hours he was quite comfortable!
Willie has not been with cats while with us.
Willie does fine when left alone. He does cry a bit in his crate but it's short and he settles down quickly.
Willie seems to be a perfect little guy. He is super friendly, quiet, listens, is house trained, and just wants to be loved!!
