Take one look into Vivian's soulful sandy eyes and you'll know you've met your new BFF.

Vivian's had quite a tumultuous couple months, moving from Texas and then birthing and raising 8 pups, and she is ready to just chill, get some love, and rediscover herself Eat-Pray-Love-style. Well maybe more like Eat Walk Love. All she wants in life is to be by her humans. And by be by her humans, I mean literally touching her humans. And by literally touching her humans, I mean staring intently with those wallowing eyes and folded ears asking to be pet. And if you happen to forget you were supposed to be petting her, you will get a very gentle paw tap to remind you of priorities.

She is an extremely gentle and mild-mannered dog. She hasn't met kids yet, but is good around other dogs and seems to so far be pretty okay with cats as well. She is very non-reactive, does not startle easily, and approaches most situations with a happy tail.

She likes to start her day with breakfast and a nice long walk. She's good on the leash and doesn't pull, tug, or lag, but she does like to motor along in case you are a speed walker, jogger, or runner. She is crate trained and so far can go about 4-5 hours in the crate without a bathroom break. She gets a good stimulating treat if she is going to be in her crate for awhile, like a Kong with frozen peanut butter. She gets another walk at night. Walks have been a great time to do some training with her so bring along some kibble.

She is still underweight and coming off raising pups, so she is very hungry! Puzzle bowls or snuffle mats encouraged to make her work for her food so she doesn't eat too fast. So far she hasn't been too interested in playing. When we have had her off leash in the backyard, she while meander and sniff but then run back to you for pets. She is definitely at her happiest on her walks. Sometimes she needs to do a small loop around the block to get all her pottying out. She is extremely smart and attentive to cues for training. She picks up training quickly, and revels in both the kibble bits and loving praise and attention she gets while doing it.
