Kinsley is a super sweet and affectionate little lady who loves nothing more than to be around people! Kinsley is not shy and will hop right in the lap of anyone who shows interest in her (especially if they provide good pets and scratches). She loves to give kisses and make herself cozy right next to her human. If you’re looking for a dog who will show you how happy she is to see you every day when you get home, Kinsley is your girl! She has so much love to give and deserves a family who can give that love back to her in return.

Kinsley is crate-trained and potty-trained. Currently, Kinsley stays in her crate during the day while her foster parents are at work and does well with that. Overall Kinsley is a well-trained dog that does not get into any trouble inside or outside of the house. Kinsley is a low-energy dog but she can go on long walks. She is a very good loose-leash walker and does not pull at other animals or people. She has not had the opportunity to interact with kids or cats yet but does get along with other dogs. While she gets along with other animals well, it’s important to note that Kinsley is possessive over toys; we suspect she has had little interaction and opportunity to have her own toys/belongings prior to being rescued. Because of this, Kinsley would either do best being an only dog or having a sibling who is less interested in toys. However, she’s also very trainable and could likely be trained out of these possessive tendencies with positive reinforcement (the gal loves her treats). Currently, Kinsley and our resident dog (a 7 year old shih tzu) coexist well together and Kinsley has never fought over food, water, or attention, but toys have had to be put away to prevent potential fights.

Overall Kinsley is an adorable and kind dog that's low energy, highly lovable, and ready to bring joy to the life (or lives) of her chosen adopters.
