Updates
Vernon gets up between 6:30 and 7:00 in the morning and immediately goes outside to potty in the back yard. He comes in and has breakfast and then goes out again for some play time with my dogs while I get ready for work. During the day Vernon is in a gated off area with some toys and a bed. He is let out again around noon and then when I get home from work at 5:00. Vernon has play time and eats his dinner when I get home and then hangs out with us and my own dogs and cats in the evening. Vernon enjoys his toys and snuggling on the couch. He goes to bed in his crate at 9:00 and sleeps quietly all night until the next morning.
Vernon is great with people! Although he can be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up. Vernon has been around kids ages 5-14 and does done really well.
Vernon is a medium energy puppy. Like a typical puppy he has bursts of energy and then zonks out. He enjoys play time in the back yard, walks, and playing with toys inside.
Vernon is great with other dogs of all sizes and ages. He is submissive to more assertive dogs and has good social skills when around other dogs.
Vernon does GREAT with cats. He is very gentle and respects kitty boundaries very well.
Vernon is with my dogs during the day and does not appear to have separation anxiety. He has not shown any destructive behaviors in my home and plays with his dog toys.
Vernon is an all-around great puppy who would do great in almost any home. He is gentle and sweet and eager to please.
