We wake up early in our house, so Ulf is typically up around 5 am. He sleeps in his crate all night without issues. We have 3 other dogs in the house, so its play time right away in the morning. We go for a 30-minute walk around 7am. He then has a morning feeding. Then he will usually nap for a while or play with the other dogs and cat. We go outside to play ball and run around. We live out in the country, so we have a lot of room to run around, which is great for him since he is so energetic. He will take another nap in the afternoon and then we go for another 30 minute walk in the evening and have more outdoor ball time (he usually just follows the other dogs after the ball as he doesn't really understand the concept yet). He will then get an early evening feeding. He goes in his crate for the night around 8 or 9pm.
Ulf is very friendly, he loves all the people in our household. We have all adults in the home. He is constantly by my side as I am his main caretaker. He is shy at first to people outside the home, but warms up quickly. Ulf has not been exposed to children.
He is a puppy, so he is a very high energy dog. He would make a great running buddy for sure! He does excellent on a leash by himself but tends to pull when he is walked with my other dogs that walk off leash. He loves to explore and sniff around on our walks.
Ulf does excellent with the dogs in our home, he does need to learn to no be quite so rambunctious with our 2 older dogs. He plays well with our 4-year-old heeler mix. He is slightly timid at first when meeting new dogs but does well once he warms up! As long as someone is willing to play, he is ready!
He does well with our one cat. He does tend to chase him at times, but he is just trying to play. Our cat likes to tease him!
Ulf is crated when left alone and does very well. No whining or barking.
Ulf is still a puppy and learning his boundaries. He will definitely need continued training. He does know sit and we are working on come and lay down. He is very food motivated. He has had a few accidents in the house but has started to sit by the patio door if he needs to go out.
