Updates

This pair found their forever family on March 30, 2021!

Tipsy and Dodger currently help their foster mom work from home.  They spend much of the day sleeping in my office. Tipsy comes to tell me when she needs/wants to go outside. She responds very well to "no" if she is wondering too far. She gets a treat when she comes in but will beg for extra but she's on a diet. Dodger is a very mellow dog.  They eat dinner at 5 pm. At night, Tipsy and Dodger sleep in the master bathroom (Tipsy likes the cold floor).

Dodger and Tipsy loves all people and everyone that they’ve think they’re so adorable. They love to be pet.  Their former home had a young child and they had no problems with the child. When they have encountered kids while in my care, they just sit for pets.

Tipsy likes to explore outside but isn't very good walking on a leash. She likes to lead the way and sniff and explore. Dodger sleeps most of the day but he likes going for short walks.  He gets a proud little strut when he’s on a walk.

They do well with other dogs. Tipsy tends to steal treats. She is generally independent but seems to worry about Dodger and comforts him when he has anxiety. They have not had exposure to cats in foster care.

I let the dogs roam on our hard floors when we're gone. We haven't had any issues with that.

Tipsy is an absolutely adorable dog. She has some of the cutest characteristics. When she needs something, she will sit next to me and does a little snort/grunt noise. I like to say her face is the dog version of grumpy cat. When she does stairs, she snorts with every step. For anyone not sure whether they want a dog or a house pig, Tipsy would be perfect.

Dodger is a very easy dog. We call him a "foxster" because he looks like a cross between and fox and a hamster. He has a cute strut when he's walking or after he gets groomed and feels extra handsome. He also has one of the cutest little waddles when he's walking/running that reminds me of the Charlie Chaplin walk. He'll whimper to let you know he needs something like he needs to go out, is hungry or wants some attention. He knows the word "no" and listens very well.

The vet recommended Tipsy and Dodger lose some weight. They were both treated for Lymes disease with a course of antibiotics as a preventative measure to treat the infection.

Tipsy and Dodger are a bonded pair and have been together for over 10 years. Their bonded pair adoption fee is $300.
