PUPDATE 2
Tiny loves to play with other dogs and does incredibly well with small dogs even. He has experienced quite a bit of fireworks in the last week and does get a bit anxious during them and will cry and pace a bit. However he’s doing great on walks and absolutely loves to meet new people. He always greets people very gently at first. Other than that, his little UTI is officially cleared up!
PUPDATE 1
Alert! Polar Bear on the loose! This guy made a trek all this way to Wisconsin from the South Pole (Texas). His name is Tiny, but don't let that fool you. Tiny is a 1 year old, 85 pound Great Pyrenees and looks even bigger with all his fluff. He is a pretty laid back, gentle giant. Tiny likes to explore outside, play a little bit with his doggy pals, and snuggle on the floor near you.
Tiny was a little anxious when he first came to my home but settled in within a couple hours and got relaxed. He plays with his foster siblings for a little while throughout the day and otherwise lays down and snoozes. He loves to go for walks as well and generally walks quite well on leash. He is a strong boy so can sometimes pull. With a little training, I think his walking skills could easily be fine tuned. Tiny has not been reactive on a leash at all! He loves to explore my yard and lay around outside. However, he can climb over chain link fences so I keep him on a long line in my yard just in case of the rare scenario when he sees a squirrel or something and wants to climb the fence.
Tiny has met other dogs of all temperaments and sizes and has done well with all. He likes to wrestle gently with the dogs who are playful and just ignores my dogs who don't want to play. Tiny currently lives with two cats. He isn't aggressive towards the cats, but does chase them a bit so that could require training if adopters have cats. Tiny is very gentle and non-reactive when meeting new people. He did great when we went to the pet store and had a spa day with bath and blow dryer. He was also with a sitter who has a 13 year old and he was very good with her. He has not met children younger than that while in my care yet.
Tiny is being treated for a UTI with a round of antibiotics.
Overall, Tiny is an incredibly gentle and sweet, dopey oaf. He has the most beautiful and majestic floof - this means adopters must be prepared for shedding and frequent brushing to maintain the floof. Other than that - he's a very easy dog!
