Adopted on April 20, 2021!

Thea normally wakes up around 6:30am and goes out for a walk first thing. After her walk, she comes back inside and eats her breakfast. She spends most of the day playing independently with her toys or napping while her human works from home. Thea also loves to look out the window and watch the cars go by. She goes out for another walk around 5pm with plenty of short potty-breaks throughout the day. In the evenings, Thea loves to cuddle up on the couch with her human. Thea settles into her crate for the night around 10:30pm, and sleeps all the way through the night!

Though Thea is very affectionate with people she knows, she is a little bit apprehensive of new people she meets both inside and outside the home. When a new person tries to pet her before she is comfortable, Thea will often times step away and hide behind her trusted human's legs. She has successfully met new people inside the home when she is given time to sniff, adjust, and get reassurance from her human. Once Thea knows she can trust you, she is a total sweetheart who loves to shower her humans with love.  Thea has not met any children while in foster care.

She is a medium energy puppy who has spurts of energy mixed with lots of naps. Thea generally does well on her leash but does do the puppy zig zag. She'll need some continued guidance on how to heel to ensure that she doesn't accidentally trip her human!

Thea has had a few playdates with other dogs and has done great! She has loved running around with other Fetch puppies, and has been a very respectful playmate. Thea does not live with cats.

She has been left alone in her crate for up to an hour and has done well! Thea will occasionally whine for the first minute or two her human is gone, but then quickly settles in for a nap.

Thea is such a gentle, loving companion. While it may take her a couple of days to warm up to her new forever home, she is certainly worth the wait. Once you gain her trust, she will make the most loyal and lovable companion. Thea is truly one of a kind!
