PUPDATE 2

Stella loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and loves to wrestle and play fetch. We use the crate for periods during the day when we need to go out for a short amount of time or just need her contained. (No more than an hour) Stella is very good at going into her crate and does not whine. She cuddles with my son at night. She only needs one person to give her a bath, although it is not her favorite activity. Stella will need continued work on potty training.

PUDPATE 1

Stella wakes up at 7:00 am and goes out for a walk. Around 7:30 am, she eats breakfast and plays and at 8:00 am it’s nap time! Stella goes out at 10:20 am for her second walk and plays. She has one more walk and then gets dinner at 5:00 pm, goes on another walk, and then goes to bed at 9:00 pm.

She is skittish and barks around new people, especially men, but she warms up after about a couple days. Stella lives with a 12 and 14-year-old. She has not had a lot of exposure to younger kids.

Stella is high energy and can go on long walks. She should ideally have 2-mile-long walks or one several mile walk per day. Stella pulls a bit on her leash and is often distracted and sniffs occasionally but can be redirected somewhat easily.  She barks at strangers and strange noises at times.

She has spent time with other dogs and does fine after an initial meeting period. Cats are unknown.

She is ok left alone but can chew on things like shoes or power cords so should be monitored or kept away from items like these.

Stella is mostly potty trained but, if not taken out regularly during the day, can have an occasional accident. She is fine holding it for long periods throughout the night, though.
