This little lady found her family on October 18, 2020!

My foster mama wakes up way too early for me but I reluctantly get out of my crate or off the bed of the person I am snuggling with and make my way out the door to relieve myself. My foster mama makes sure I pee and poop! While I am very good at not needing to go the bathroom overnight and not having a 'wet' accident in the house I am still working on doing both, outside, consistently. She has found if I am let out about an hour after I eat, I do much better and it's fine with me because I love being outside. After my foster mom leaves for work... before 6am (gasp) I go back upstairs, find someone to cuddle with and sleep until the rest of the family wakes up. During the day, I take naps in my crate, have outdoor time and play with the kids. At night, I tend to get feisty and have the zoomies. That's when I really like to play the kids. Sometimes I try to get mouthy with their toes. I am overall very gentle even when I am mouthy, but I can be a little much for the two year old at times so I will leave him alone and move on to other things or play solely with 7 year old.

I haven't come across anyone I don't like. I love everyone. My tail wags, even at the vet! I am a little shy but warm up quickly. While I love to cuddle and snuggle more than anything, I am still OK being alone in my crate.

I have a lot of energy right before bed for about 30 min. During the day, I play and relax. Overall, I am pretty mellow puppy. I prefer afternoon walks and will be quite stubborn on an early morning walk because I would rather be sleeping. Since the weather is so nice, I spend lots of time outside on my tether and can entertain myself. When winter comes, I am sure I will appreciate a game of fetch, tag or hide and seek indoors as I love all of those games now and wouldn't mind playing them more often.

I try to say hello to every dog we come across on walks. When I do get to meet them, I am very friendly. When it is time to go, I have no problem leaving. There was one dog though that scared me, the bark came out of nowhere it seemed and that dog had a big bark! I decided that dog wasn't for me and I turned around and started walking the other way. Sometimes the neighbor dogs and I will 'chat'. One dog will start barking and then another, and then another, and then the dog across the street will chime in as we all have something interesting to say. When my foster mama says social hour is over, I say "OK" she redirects me and move on. Sometimes if I don't listen she will take me back into the house but not often.

When the humans leave, they put me in my crate. Sometimes I get a toy and sometimes I don't. Either way I am happy. They don't let me free roam yet because I am still a puppy and I am sure I would chew on something that wasn't for me as I am still learning. When my humans are home and they find me not chewing on my toys, they replace it with a dog toy. I am fine with that and I don't get mad. I just want to chew on something. Oh, and they would probably tell you I have a fondness for human food. When they are not looking, I try to get on the table. I have been successful. My foster family is redirecting me because I need strong boundaries now so it doesn't become a bigger issue as I grow.

If I could tell you a couple things about me, I would tell you I am a little shy at first but warm up pretty quick. I love to snuggle and I love to play. I have manners but there are a few things I need to keep working on; like not sneaking human food and only chewing on dog toys. Overall, I am a really great dog and can't wait to find a family that will love, cuddle and snuggle me because I love hugs and kisses.
