Simone loves to spend her days playing in the toy box and chasing her foster sister around the house or yard. After a busy day, her favorite place is in front of the fireplace to keep warm on these cold WI days.
Simone loves her foster parents. She can be a little uncertain of new people, but with treats and patience, she has warmed up to everyone she has met. We are working to get her new introductions to help show new people can be good.
Simone is good with children, but we would not recommend her to a family with young children. She can be shy and fearful of new people. She would do best with older children who can respect her boundaries.
Simone is medium energy. She sleeps all through the night with out getting up. She has a burst of energy once when her foster parents come home from work and let her out to run in the yard and play with her sister, but she also is good a relaxing with her foster family at the end of the day.
She loves her foster sisters, she seems to do great with all dogs she meets and loves to play and chase.
Simone has not met a cat while we’ve been fostering her.
Simone does great when left alone. She is fully crate trained and willingly gets in the crate and is relaxed in there all night and while her foster parents are at work. She is not allowed to free roam due to her young age.
At a vet appointment in mid-December, Simone was noted to have 1 retained deciduous canine tooth. Likely, this retained deciduous tooth will fall out on its own over the course of the next few months. If after 2 months, this deciduous tooth has not fallen out, then surgical extraction may be necessary.
Simone is very sweet, and once you win her over with a few treats and belly rubs she will be your best friend! She has the biggest ears that are so long they dip in her water bowl when she drinks. She is a great girl who will make you smile!
