Sesame found her family on May 20, 2021!

Say hello to little Sesame! Sesame likes to start the day with a short walk and then some play time with either toys or her doggy friends. She then eats breakfast in her crate and settles in while I'm working. We take a potty break around lunch time then crate again until I'm done working. Then we play and snuggle the rest of the evening. Sesame loves playing around in the yard with toys or play wrestling with her foster siblings.

Sesame is a very friendly little girl and is a bit on the submissive side. She is generally pretty outgoing and doesn't take long to get warmed up to new people but might shy away from them if they're particularly loud at first. She was with a sitter for a couple days who had a small child and she was reportedly very good with the child though I don't have any children in my own home.

She has a great medium energy level with some occasional puppy zoomies since she's still a baby! She will run around and play in the yard a bit but is also happy to just toss around toys inside and loves to settle in for snuggles too. Sesame isn't super comfortable with leash walking yet and seems a little shy about peeing on walks so leash walking and potty training will need continued work to solidify those things. She goes potty relatively well when off leash in my backyard.

Sesame absolutely loves to play with other dogs her size. She hasn't met a lot of dogs much larger than her, but she has just been extra submissive when she has met larger dogs and often rolls on her side to greet the big dogs. She will wrestle or play chase and does not play too roughly. She does fine meeting dogs when out on a leash too. I also have two cats and Sesame has been very gentle with them so far.

She is always crated when I leave her alone since she's still quite young and not yet fully potty trained. She will cry a little bit the first couple minutes but quiets down with a "shush" and eventually stays quiet for the whole workday and sleeping throughout the night. Sesame tested positive for some intestinal parasites so was recently de-wormed for these but adopters should plan to re-test her in a couple weeks as well.

This young lady is such a fun loving and playful little puppy and will make a wonderful pet to any family!
