Robin found her family August 20!

Robin is a super sweet little girl with the cutest underbite! She’s medium energy and the perfect mix of playful and snuggle buddy.

Robin lives with three small size dogs in her foster home and has gotten along great. She likes to play and chase with the younger ones. She’s been very respectful of their space and can share toys and take treats with them without any sassiness. She also has experience living with larger size dogs. There is a cat in the foster home as well, Robin has been uninterested and leaves him be after the initial greeting sniff when she first arrived.

She sleeps in a crate at night and also goes into a crate for shorter periods during the day when left alone. She cries for a short time and then settles down to sleep. She is let out frequently throughout the day to either go potty or play in the yard and hasn’t had any accidents. Robin was a bit apprehensive at times on a leash walk in a suburban type environment but did well overall and seemed to enjoy herself. She’ll bark at noises she hears in the home or outside. This has lessened as she has gotten acclimated to her foster home but an apartment would likely not be ideal.

Other than playing with other dogs, she entertains herself with an assortment of toys. Robin has been most interested in stuffed toys with a squeaker and can keep herself occupied playing with those. When she is all played out, she’ll jump up on the couch for attention and love. Robin has a really soft coat and loves to get snuggles and affection!

She’s really happy when anybody from her foster family comes home and they are greeted with tail wags and kisses. When meeting new people, she generally barks at them and needs a little bit of time to get adjusted. She needed an extra couple of days to get comfortable with the older child in the home. Robin doesn’t have previous known exposure to kids so older and gentle children would be recommended.

Robin is a little gem and can’t wait to find her forever person or family!
