Little miss Pink found her furever home August 19, 2021!

In the morning, we take Pink outside to potty, feed her, then snuggle her for a few hours. She is typically kenneled every afternoon while we work. In the evening, we feed her, play outside for a bit, then it's more snuggles. Pink is kenneled overnight while we sleep. She is a sweet little nugget who enjoys playing with our dogs for a few minutes, then being close to her people.

In our home, Pink might let out a bark or two at new people. After a bit, she typically goes up and sniffs them. She enjoys being held by people, even those she just met and will lay down on their laps and soak up the gentle pets. Outside our home, she loves being carried by her people and it seems to give her the most confidence. When she's on the ground, Pink may shake a bit at places like the vet office, but she'll still walk around and investigate, and even sniff people after a bit.

Pink has only been exposed to a few toddlers. She chose to avoid them when given the opportunity. When I held her, she was OK getting brief pets by one of the children, but overall, her preference was to avoid them.

She is low energy. She will play with our dogs for a few minutes, but prefers to sit and snuggle with her people. She's good on leash, but we mostly let her out in our fenced-in-yard.

Pink is great with our two rather large dogs. She runs up to them, then rolls over so they can sniff her. She will snuggle with them when they allow it, but she's also great at reading their signals when they want to be left alone. She also met another chi and played well. Pink has no exposure to cats.

Pink should be kenneled when left alone, or she may chew on things that aren't her toys, but smell like her favorite people.

She had x-rays done for a mild abduction of her left elbow and no injury or arthritis was found. She has no pain or lameness. Adopters could have their veterinarian review the radiographs prior to adoption.

Pink is the sweetest nugget! She loves to snuggle and be with her people. She's low energy and overall low maintenance other than a couple of quirks. Whomever adopts her will be oh so lucky!
