Updates

Rig found his happily ever after on May 17!

Rig wakes up and is ready to go on his walk right away in the morning! Then he enjoys playing with his foster brother all day and cuddling on the couch with his humans.

Rig loves being surrounded by people and will make you feel like the most important person in the world! When on walks, he wants to say hi to everyone and will wag his tail to show how happy is to see you.

He has been around older children and does wonderfully with them. Rig hasn’t had exposure to younger children.

Rig is a medium to high energy pup. He is still very puppy-like, so he will play all day if you let him, but he will also take 2-3 hour naps in his crate or in your lap during the day. He sleeps all the way through the night in his crate with no breaks. His excitement is pretty high on walks, so he does need some training on on a leash.

Rig loves other dogs! As soon as he met his foster brother, they became fast friends. He is very sweet and non-aggressive in his play. He loves playing chase inside and outside with other dogs!  No known exposure to cats.

Rig is crate trained (he needs guidance with a treat to get in), but he will sleep for 2-3 hours at a time. We haven’t left him longer than that, but he does need to go outside multiple times during the day.

Rig needs to be on a potty schedule because he hasn’t learned how to let his people know when he has to go out yet. Other than that, after some basic obedience training, Rig will be the most perfect boy!
