Updates
Pico wakes up at 6am and is immediately carried outside to go potty! Then we come back inside and play with toys for about 10-15 minutes, he eats and we go outside for a poop! He does this every morning right after eating. Then he goes in his crate and I put a movie on for him - the house favorite is the live action Lady in the Tramp. This helps him settle in his crate. He will howl/ cry in his crate for ~5-10 minutes typically and then will settle! I stop home 1-2 times a day to let him out potty and then am home for the day at 4:30pm. Pico eats dinner around 5pm. He will then poop again and intermittently play with toys, chew and sleep for the next few hours until he’s ready for a last potty break around 9:30pm. He has slept in bed with me the past week and hasn’t left the bed - but he’s starting to think about leaving the bed so he may have to start sleeping in the crate!
He is so good with all people and has done amazing with every dog he’s met!
Pico has met a few very young children and loves the 18month old that I nanny for! He’s very sweet and gentle with her!
He’s a puppy still so it’s hours of high energy followed by sleep. Once grown I believe he will be medium energy level! He does not like walking on a leash yet, or being outside in general - it’s too cold for him!
Pico has not met a cat in my care.
He is crated and does not like his crate, but he does settle eventually!
Pico is a pretty easy puppy as far as puppies go!
