Updates
Daisy is doing much better with house training. She hasn’t had an accident all week! She will bark at the door when she wants to come in. We are still working on barking at the door to alert us she wants to go out.
Daisy is so funny! She’s settled in here and is comfortable. She gets the zoomies in the house and loves it when our resident dog chases her! They still enjoy playing outside together, but the weather hasn’t been the best for outdoor play. Too much rain!
Daisy responds well to a sharp “no” when doing something she shouldn’t. She is also easily redirected with a toy, bone, or a treat stuffed toy. She’s such a smart girl and has learned a lot of our house rules already.
Daisy has been doing really well with our bedtime routine. She prefers to sleep on the floor, the dog bed, or the cool bathroom floor. She will sleep all night with no accidents.
Daisy is doing much better with crate training! We give her a toy to chew on, sometimes stuffed with frozen organic peanut butter. She doesn’t like going into the crate, but settles down right away. Now that she knows we eventually let her out, she’s been much calmer.
