Hi, my name is Pepper and I’m here to love and be loved.

A typical day goes like this: my foster mom lets me out of my crate for a potty break at 4 am. I let out a few ferocious puppy yawns into the world to make sure Noah (foster brother) and foster mom know I’m still exhausted. Once we come back inside, I sleep for a few more hours until lunchtime/playtime. I often dream big puppy dreams – you can tell because I make soft puppy noises and my limbs twitch.

My favorite part of the morning is scarfing down my food, wrestling with Noah, and chasing my tail (around 7 am). I would do well in a house with another dog because I have so much puppy energy to channel through wrestling. When Noah gets sick of playing, we go for a short walk around the block and I try to meet every dog and human on the way. We’re still working on common commands like “sit”, “stay”, “down”, and “come” but my foster mom says I’m getting better.

I spend most of the morning/afternoon violating my human’s personal space by sleeping on top of them but, again, I’m here to love and be loved. I require potty breaks every 2-3 hours but belly bands help prevent accidents. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to let everyone know I need to go outside.

After my foster mom done working, we go to Epic so I can chase Noah in a safe place. I love playing fetch, chasing butterflies, and exploring prairie grass. It takes me about a half hour to tire myself out and I love sleeping with Noah on the car ride home.

I eat dinner around 4:30 pm and I fall asleep by 7 pm. While I typically sleep through the night, mom takes me out for a potty break around 1 or 2 am because I’m still so young.

Sometimes my foster mom leaves me at home for an hour or two to go grocery shopping or hang out with friends – I do well in my crate after a few minutes of whining/barking. I would much rather go on the car ride with her though.

I’m a puppy with big dreams. I’m looking for a family that will be patient with me and help me grow my puppy professional development skills. Love me forever?
