Peanut found her family on November 20, 2020!

Peanut wakes me up promptly at 7am every morning from her kennel to use the restroom. She spends much of her day outside the kennel napping and playing with her toys. In the evening, we go for a walk and some nights, meet up with friends for a doggie play date. In bed for the night around 10-11pm.

She will greet everyone inside and outside pleasantly and with lots of love. She is learning not to jump on people, but it is out of excitement. I have never had her growl or be scared to meet anyone.  No exposure to children yet.

Peanut is still young and sleeps a lot, but definitely needs her walking and or doggie play interaction with friends to tire her out for the night. She is more of a curious dog on leash and loves taking her time sniffing everything and looking for things to chew on, rather than pulling you along.

She is curious of all dogs and wants to say hello to every single one, no matter the size. She is not very shy and will be more than happy to play with dogs small and big.  No exposure to cats.

In the kennel if left alone, she is pretty good about not whining for too long. (5 minutes tops) If left alone outside of kennel, she will get into whatever she can that she isn’t supposed to. She is potty trained for the most part, if left unattended for too long will go inside, but goes outside 90% of the time.

She is a very loving dog that just wants attention from everyone. Peanut learns fast would be a great dog for someone with little experience. All I think she needs is someone with a little patience.
