Pattie is the sweetest and smartest 6 month old puppy who will instantly win you over with her happy personality and eagerness to learn. She loves to cuddle and wants to be near her person as much as possible to give all her love, and is very food motivated and enjoys working for treats, which has helped her learn sit, stay, down, and crate. Pattie is also potty trained and will sit by the door to let you know when she wants to go outside!
During the day, Pattie happily entertains herself while her foster mom works from home by picking out various toys to run around with to get her energy out, in addition to her daily walks. She also loves taking naps on the couch throughout the day. On walks, she gets especially excited when she spots rabbits or squirrels.
Pattie does great with other dogs and loves to run and play with them. She also loves meeting new people and getting lots of attention. As a typical puppy, she can get jumpy and overly excited at times, but she listens very well and responds quickly to redirection as she is eager to please. When she’s really excited, she may bark or get a little mouthy, but it’s always playful, typical puppy behavior and never aggressive.
Pattie is crate trained and has no issues sleeping through the entire night in her crate. Like many puppies her age, she is still learning to be fully independent and comfortable being alone. She may cry briefly when first left alone in her crate, but typically settles down and lays quietly, waiting for her person to come home.
Pattie would do great in a home ready for a playful and affectionate puppy who needs regular walks and playtime, continued training, and lots of love. She’s already such an amazing and smart girl and will continue to grow into an even better companion with her forever home!
