Meet Princess Diamond 💎: A Snuggly, Dazzling Girl Looking for Her Forever Home!
Rescued in Arkansas, Diamond spent several months with a local rescue before making her way to the Midwest. She’s adapted exceptionally well to Wisconsin living!
Diamond is polite and relaxed inside her home. She rarely barks, never chews on items she shouldn’t, and loves to laze around like a princess in her favorite cozy spots! She has never shown any kind of resource guarding with humans, and is gentle when taking treats. She loves toys and will happily play fetch or tug with her humans.
Diamond is fully potty-trained and crate-trained. She’s never had an accident inside the house. Diamond is a smart girl and will go into her crate on command! She will happily snooze in her crate for up to 4 hours at a time. Diamond can also be left to free-roam — as long as you don’t leave any tasty food on the kitchen counter!
Diamond walks well on leash, and prefers leisurely strolls with lots of sniffing and joyful rolling in the grass. She’s a curious girl, and will occasionally lunge at a squirrel or bird. Diamond is working through leash reactivity towards other pups, but can be redirected with treats.
Because of her past behavior towards other dogs, Diamond must be the only pet in her home. This is ideal so she can give you all her love and attention!
Diamond is one of the most affectionate dogs you’ll be lucky to meet. Though she needs patient introductions to new humans, she adores every human her foster family has brought into her circle! Diamond is a cuddly girl, and loves to lay on top of you, snuggle into your neck, or lay by your feet. She will bond deeply with whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.
Diamond would do well in an adult-only home or in a home with older, quieter kids.
Diamond is looking for a loving adopter who is willing to take things slowly as she adjusts to her new home. If you're the kind of person who appreciates a sweet, affectionate dog with a big heart, Diamond is the dog for you.
