Paddington found his forever home on July 13!
Meet Paddington, the four legged teddy bear! He starts his day with a small cup of kibbles then spends the rest of the day napping, playing with our resident dog, chewing on his chew toys, and following his favorite human around the apartment. His favorite hobby is curling up next to napping humans.
Paddington loves having people in the apartment. On walks, we keep him on a tight leash so he doesn't run up to strangers too excitedly.
While Paddington has not had any recent exposure to children, his previous foster noted that he loved kids.
Paddington is a medium energy dog. He engages us in play if we are interested. But when it's time to work, Paddington curls up under our desk and waits patiently for us to finish. Paddington loves trotting beside his humans on walks. He sometimes can get too excited, so we keep him on a shorter leash to temper his excitement.
Paddington loves to wrestle with our resident puppy despite being only a quarter of his size. Outside, Paddington greets other dogs eagerly.
When it comes to feline friends, Paddington loves our resident grumpy cat too much. She corrects him when he tries to engage. While Paddington loves her, our cat would rather be ignored.
There have always been humans in the apartment, so Paddingon has not been left alone yet. Because he exhibits separation anxiety when his favorite human leaves the room, Paddington would need to learn how to relax on his own.
Paddington recently tested positive for anaplasma, but shows no symptoms. He is treated for this and the vet has approved him for adoption!
Paddington has a lot of love to give in his tiny body. If you're looking for a teddy bear to nap next to that you can go on walks with, he's the best friend you've been waiting for.
