Otto LOVES to be outside and does great walking or running on a leash. He loves to lay in the sun and is very chill in his crate. He gets comfy and snoozes the day away. Otto spends his time in his crate when no one is home. Even when I approach his crate, he lays down and tries to figure out what will happen next. Even though Otto comes out of the crate with a bang and enthusiastically greets his people, he settles down quickly and really loves to snuggle. At night, he sleeps soundly in his crate and is very happy to sleep in.
Otto is working on being more aware of his body in space. He doesn't realize how big and heavy he is. He likes to jump up and greet people, but he is very reserved and gentle on the leash. He loves to sit next to you on a chair or the couch. He greets strangers, adults and children alike, friendly and gently on the leash. Otto has shown love for adults and children equally. He probably has too much big puppy energy for little ones.
Otto has done well with other dogs in his previous foster home. He was nervous with my resident dog getting too close to his face, but he seems to be getting more comfortable. He may do best with a smaller or more submissive dog. Otto has not had any exposure to cats in my care.
Otto is a big snuggle bug. He loves to be close and could use some practice harnessing his size. His future family is going to love him!
