Hanna sleeps well and all night in a crate with her favorite blanket. She goes immediately out to potty before breakfast, then plays with toys or chews on a yak cheese. She loves spending time outside sniffing or watching outdoor activities and playing with the resident dog. After a mid-morning walk, she has a snack (something chewy, like a pizzelle, non-rawhide chew or a treat in a puzzle toy), and free roams when fosters are at home. Otherwise, she is in her crate to rest or play with her toys. Hanna has a late afternoon walk, then dinner, more free-roam playtime when fosters are at home, and then potty before bedtime.
Hanna has a friendly and outgoing personality and greets all people with a robust tail wag and a sit for a pet. If she jumps on people at first meeting, she is redirected to sit before she is petted.
Little exposure to children; when passing them on walks, she pauses and is interested but no other reaction. Due to the energy level of small children and Hanna's love of play, I would do slow intro to children under 5.
Hanna LOVES being outside and is medium+ energy level. She walks great on leash. She is working on sitting in 'wait' before she is hooked up to a lead--she is so excited to go out.
Hanna will gladly and robustly play with other dogs inside and outside of the home.
Hanna has had no exposure to cats.
Hanna is very comfortable in her crate and does very well with no whining when left alone.
Hanna is a little hesitant when getting into a car, but once lifted in or lured in with a treat, she loves it and will either lay or sit down or stick her nose out an open window. With a ton of personality, Hanna will make a great addition to a family looking for a loving pup who likes to be with and around her people.
