Updates

Olive waits in her crate until we take her for her first walk/potty break around 6:30AM. Then it’s breakfast time! After breakfast, Olive spends the day with our resident dog sleeping while I work. Then around 12:00PM we go out for a short walk. Olive spends the afternoon in her crate while I am at class. Once home, she goes out for a potty break, and spends the evening on the couch with us and our resident dog. Dinner is at 8:00PM. After dinner, she gets one night walk/potty break before bed. Olive spends the night in her crate, and is quiet all night.

Olive is very sweet, and loves everyone she meets. She can be timid at first, but warms up quickly to people. Olive is quite strong, and sometimes doesn't know her strength. We are working on not jumping, which is going well. Olive wants to be a lap dog, and will sit in your lap and cuddle on the couch.

Olive hasn’t been around children while in our care, but she would do best in a home with older children due to her size and strength. She may knock over or try to jump on a small child.

Olive is a medium-energy pup. She loves walks and spending time in the backyard. Olive enjoys playing with our resident dog. She has not been interested in playing fetch, but she does play with toys on her own.

Olive does well with our resident dog. She plays well and reacts positively when he is not interested in playing. Olive wants to be the center of attention and tries to get in between any attention being given to our resident dog.

Olive is scared of our cats. If a cat makes an aggressive move towards her, she runs away. Most of the time Olive and the cats ignore each other.

When we are not home, Olive spends time in the crate. She is quiet and well behaved in the crate.

Olive does well taking direction and listens if she is told no. We are working on down for jumping and furniture, which is progressing well.
