Okie found her forever family on November 18, 2020!

Okie starts her day with going outside to go potty. Then plays with her little brother Tito, a boisterous chihuahua puppy, who she is incredibly patient with. Next up is her favorite time, breakfast. When I go to work Okie relaxes on the couch and waits for my return. Once I come home, she gets very excited and we go out for a walk. The rest of the day Okie eats dinner, sleeps, and plays with Tito to appease him when he relentlessly bothers her.

She is a skittish pup who just wants love from her people. She’s good with strangers inside and outside of the house. She’ll say hi and then walk away and hangout by me.

No exposure with children.

Okie’s favorite activity is cuddling with her person. She will play with her foster dog brother and enjoys walks but doesn’t require much exercise.

Okie is a great buddy for my pup; she plays with him and puts up with his high energy. She’s met quite a few dogs out on walks and doesn’t have interest in interacting with them but is fine if they come up to her. I think she’d be happy in a home with or without other dogs.

She has met one cat and did great with him. He’s an old calm cat and she just ignores him.

Okie has separation anxiety and does not enjoy being left home alone. She cries a few times initially then calms down and is very excited when I come home. The anxiety doesn’t cause her to be destructive or cause problems, but she would be happier with an owner who is able to spend a lot of time with her.

She’s an awesome pup who just wants a forever best friend.
