June 12th marks Mozzarella’s adoption day!
Mozzarella is a fun, loving young pup! She enjoys playing with our resident dog and taking naps.
She’s very nervous when first meeting new people but once she meets them and gets comfortable, she loves them. Mozzarella has not met kids.
Mozzarella is a low to moderate energy puppy. She enjoys short walks or else she will need to take little resting breaks. All around she walks well on leash!
She is great with other dogs in the house once she gets to know them. Some new dogs she gets nervous around. Mozzarella is looking for an adopter to help build her confidence in meeting new dogs. She has no exposure to cats.
When we leave, she is crated. Mozzarella will cry for a little bit, but she quiets down and sleeps. She has some separation anxiety while alone so adopters will need to continue working on crating. Some nights Mozzarella goes straight to bed while others she takes about a half hour to quiet down.
As a typical young pup, she’s working hard on crate and potty training. She likes to chew on things since she’s teething but if you tell her “no” she’ll stop chewing right away.
Mozzarella was noted to have two retained deciduous teeth. These should fall out in the next two months otherwise surgical extraction might be necessary.
She is the sweetest girl just a bit nervous. Mozzarella would thrive with continued training to build her confidence!
