Congrats to Moo on her adoption December 4, 2020!
Moo sleeps in her kennel through the night and will wake up around 5:30am when I am getting up or work. We go outside right away to potty and then she gets breakfast. We play a bit while I get ready and then we go outside once more before I leave. She is gated in the kitchen while I am at work. I take her out at lunch for potty and a short walk. We sometimes go on another walk in the afternoon and play in the evening.
Moo loves to meet new people. If she sees people on a walk, she will stop and sit until they come close and then approaches them for pets. She has no exposure to children but she loves to meet all adults.
She has moderate energy level for a puppy with periods of high energy play and then long nap periods. We try to go on one or two walks a day to exercise her and she does pretty well on a leash, but gets distracted by smells and people she sees.
Like people, Moo loves to meet new dogs. If the dog is bigger than her, she will approach more cautiously and then start to lick at them after the first “hello”. If she sees a dog her same size, she will run up to them immediately and will want to play. She has not meet a cat.
While at work, I gate Moo in the kitchen with her blanket, water, and toys. She whines for a bit (~5 mins max) once you leave but will quickly settle in for a nap or with a toy.
Moo is very smart and has been doing well with her training! She can do commands like sit and down, and sometimes shake. We are working on leave it and stay. She has been doing pretty well with potty training but still needs to go out frequently as she is a puppy.
