Updates

Milo says hello! He is such a happy and playful little guy. Milo likes to start his day with a quick walk and some playtime. He'll then eat breakfast and settle into his crate for the day while I'm at work. In the evening, Milo loves to take another walk, play with some good toys (he really loves fetching tennis balls!), and snuggle with some humans. Milo is food motivated, eager to please, and so happy to be around people and other animals.

Milo has met quite a few different people on walks, at the pet store, etc. He is always very excited and loves to get attention from people. One time he got so excited that he excitedly peed a little, but only the once so far! Otherwise he'll freely approach strangers for pets and attention. He hasn't met children much while with me.

Milo is medium energy and loves to play. However, he's also happy to settle in for a snuggle. A couple walks a day does the trick and some toy play time makes this boy very happy. Milo plays really well with dogs and particularly enjoys spending time playing chase in the yard. He can get a little overwhelmed at first with particularly rambunctious dogs in new places but settles in quickly. He happily shares toys with other dogs and is fine meeting dogs on leash.

Milo currently lives with my two cats and does okay with them. He is never aggressive towards them and usually ignores them. He will sometimes get particularly playful and chase the cats a little bit but is easily redirected.

Milo does really well in his crate through the night and while I'm at work during the day. He goes in freely when it's meal time since he loves his food. He can sleep up to 9-10 hours at night and go up to 9 hours during the day. In general, he is a relatively quiet dog and will make a great dog for owners of any experience level.

Milo just had his vet checkup and did test positive for Anaplasmosis (a tick related disease). He has no symptoms from this but is on a 3 week antibiotic course to treat this proactively. He is such a sweet and loving boy who will make one lucky family very happy!
