Marigold found her family April 24, 2021!

Hello, meet Marigold! A typical day with Marigold usually starts off with getting up around 7:30 am, taking her out of her crate and going straight outside for a morning potty break. Then, heading inside and feeding her for the first time of the day around 8:00. Marigold loves playing around in the morning, so we'll usually let her run around in a gated area with toys and some cuddles. Then Marigold goes back to her crate for an hour or two while the rest of the family wakes up and gets ready for the day. The rest of the day consists of feeding her every 3 or so hours, play time, spending time outside with her, "walks", plenty of potty breaks and cuddles in the evening before returning her to her crate for the night around 11:00pm.

Marigold loves people and company! She is loyal puppy who loves to follow you around, comes everywhere you call her, and loves attention any time of the day. Outside, she likes to be active with you by playing fetch, prancing around and having fun chasing you. When meeting new people, Marigold can be a bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly with a few sniffs and licks.

Marigold is great with kids. If the kids are younger and there is a lot of commotion going on she might get a little scared, but she usually adapts quickly to the situation.

She is a pretty typical puppy, she has medium energy, loves to play and tire herself out, but also loves to snuggle and will happily lay on your lap to be with you. She will usually get bursts of playful energy but will be pretty chill the rest of the time.

Marigold has been working on meeting other dogs but can still be a little afraid of them sometimes. She does not get aggressive with them, but usually does not want to approach or will start barking. With some encouragement and patience, Marigold could definitely work her way up to being relaxed in the company of another dog.

We have two cats, and Marigold has been getting along well with them! She is typically either indifferent to them or she likes to approach them to say hi in a friendly manner.

When left alone, Marigold will usually be left in her crate, because she is not fully potty trained yet and she is likely to have accidents. She does well left alone but does whine and bark for a period of time before quieting down.

Thanks for reading about Marigold! She is such a wonderful little puppy and would be happy to share her love with you :)
