Updates

Lousie found her family on September 28, 2020!

Louise is a great sleeper and sleeps through the night! She typically wakes up around 8am and will go outside to go to the bathroom and come inside and eat breakfast. After breakfast she may take a mid-morning nap and then will stay awake until her mid-afternoon nap after lunch. After dinner it's more awake/play time until she's ready for bed. She is medium energy and likes to play and also be outside. She is working on potty training and is picking it up very quickly when taken out regularly.

She loves all humans and children. She is very tiny so I wouldn't recommend a home with very young children, only because her size needs to be respected for safety reasons. Louise lets people pick her up and she loves to be held. When she is tired, she likes to curl up close to her human.

Louise has medium puppy energy but doesn't require a lot of exercise since she is so tiny. She is learning to walk with a leash and harness, but again, does not need long walks - just some running around time in the yard or house. :)

She has been around her dog sister the whole time and does well with her. They do typical puppy play, but she has not been around other dogs besides that. She has had no exposure to cats, but she does not have a prey drive that we have seen.

Louise has done fine in a crate when left alone. In fact, when we have come home, she is usually sleeping in her dog bed in her crate.

Louise does not need to go to a home with another dog. She is so tiny that I would be worried if the family had a large dog that could accidently step on her or lay on her. Louise will be absolutely wonderful for her new adopters! She is very sweet and loves to be loved on! If you are looking to adopt 2 dogs, her sister Thelma is just as sweet and the girls get along really well. :)
