Happily adopted on September 28, 2020!

Acorn is a sweet, fun-loving puppy! Acorn starts her day waking up in her crate, looking forward to breakfast! She eats nicely with the other dogs and cats around, then is ready to play! Acorn is currently blind in her left eye due to a suspected corneal ulcer, but that does not slow her down. She loves to catch balls, chase toys, play with the kids, then snuggle up for a nap!

She is great with all the humans in our home! Acorn plays nicely with the kids and loves to snuggle up on a warm lap or next to you to nap or watch a movie. She would prefer to be with her humans all the time but does okay during quiet time in her crate.

Acorn has usual puppy energy with frequent naps. She takes a few breaks during the day to nap and is okay hanging out in her crate when the humans leave the house. Acorn is just starting to learn to walk on a leash. She does well on a tie-out outside or running free within the fence.

She likes playing with the other big dogs in the house, as well as the cats. While the cats don't appreciate Acorn barking at them or trying to play, they do appreciate that she does not attack or snip at them.

Acorn is working on house-training, but she does still use piddle pads in the house as she is just starting to let her humans know when she needs to go outside. Acorn really likes children and she is happy curling up on the couch with them or running around chasing balls in the yard. Acorn is a super sweet dog, and she is going to be a fantastic addition to the family!
