PUDPATE 2

This puppy is adorable!  Lincoln is exceptionally well behaved at a young age, he’s smart and eager to please.  We’ve had Lincoln a month now and have seen him interact with other dogs, other people, other places and he’s interested and respectful of all the new situations he finds himself in.

At 5 months, he is well on his way to being reliably house trained.  He is leash trained and already knows several commands (sit, wait, no, leave it).  He would be perfect for the new dog owner or someone who wants a companion for their family in an apartment or out in the country.

Lincoln loves car rides, especially those that go to our rural property where he can run.  At night he’s happy to sleep in his crate.  At 5 months, the crate is still a great place for a time out when he needs a nap.

He is a medium-energy dog, but he's still young and gangly. I suspect he'll be a great retriever and will enjoy a good work out retrieving.  He retrieves his favorite squeaky toys with zeal!

Lincoln is still full of puppy energy.  Yesterday we caught him chasing butterflies.  We would love to see his forever family enjoy this life stage of exuberance and learning.

PUPDATE 1

Lincoln sleeps in his crate at night. He waits until we're ready to take him outside. He pees and poos right away on leash. We take him regularly to our rural property where he plays with our other adult foster dog. Indoors he naps, plays with our other foster or chews on his toys. When we can't supervise him, he's in his crate.

He loves contact with all new people indoors or out. No exposure to children.

Lincoln is a medium-energy dog, but he's still young and gangly. I suspect he'll be a great retriever and will enjoy a good work out retrieving.

He's appropriate with other dogs and still has his puppy submissiveness.  Lincoln does not live with cats.

Lincoln will find something to chew if unattended. The recycling bin is his favorite source for items to chew and clothes are his second choice. He is a puppy.

Lincoln is exceptionally well behaved for such a young dog. He listens and has been easy to train simple things. He will make a great companion!
