Lillian found her family on October 16, 2020!

Sweet and Spunky Lillian is ready to find her forever family.  This gorgeous floof is believed to be a German Shepherd/Aussie Shepherd mix. She has a ton of personality and sass in her little body and is looking for a family that she can keep entertained with her silly puppy antics.

Lillian starts her day with potty and playtime in the yard, followed by breakfast.  She plays a bit more or snuggles in on the couch until it is time to work.  She practices being crated while I work.  We are still working pretty hard on crate training with Lillian.  She does great when crated in the same room with us (bedtime and crated while I work from home) but if crated away from us or when we leave, she can take a bit to settle in and will sometimes have accidents in her crate even if recently let out.  I have "graduated" her to being crated in the hallway outside of my workspace while I work (so she can get used to not being able to see me) which she has been mostly agreeable to.  After work, she gets more playtime in the yard with the pups and lots of pets from the people before bedtime.

This little love has never met a stranger.  She loves people, especially kiddos.  She met three kids (ages 2-7) and she ran right up to them for belly rubs and didn't bat an eye when they were running around in the yard.  She is a favorite of the boisterous neighbor kids since she isn't remotely scared when they are loud/excitable.  She can get mouthy when excited so I would recommend supervising so you can correct if needed but she would do great with any family.

She is excited to meet new puppy friends.  She can be a little in your face when meeting them but it is just because she is so excited to have new friends.  She loves playing chase in the yard and trying to outrun her puppy friends.  She has done well eating in a shared space with other dogs and sharing toys.

She will occasionally bark at the kitty in her foster home but never reactive or given any signs of wanting to hurt the cat.  I think she would do fine with a cat with slow intros and appropriate supervision/correction from her humans.

Lillian is a medium-high energy pup.  She wakes up in the morning, ready to hit the ground running but does still puppy crash after walks and bouts of play.  She really enjoys playtime with toys so a combination of playtime outside and inside of toys is enough to keep her adequately exercised.  She LOVES water so swimming will be a favorite activity for her once it warms back up again.  She really loves to be outside and explore in the yard but does need to be supervised as she tries to eat everything she finds. We have had her on a 1.5 mile hike and she easily kept up but slept a good chunk of the day when we got home.  She does ok on leash but could use some more practice as she likes to zig zag around as she checks things out.

Lillian is crated when left alone.  She does need to be crated when we leave because she is a typical puppy that wants to eat everything she can get her sharp, little puppy teeth on. She is also still working on potty training. She does well when let out on a schedule but will still have accidents occasionally.

Lillian has been a super fun pup to have in our home.  She is sweet, affectionate (once she gets sleepy) and would be a great addition to any family willing to set her up for success by setting clear boundaries for her mischievous nature.
