Officially adopted on January 12, 2021!

Lee goes out for her first potty break around 6am. She pees outside right away but then we need to take her for a walk so she can do the rest of her business. After her walk, she eats breakfast and plays with her foster dog sister. The rest of the day is comprised of play, eat, rest, play, eat, rest. Around 8 pm, she goes in her crate for the night.

She is great with people. Lee will bark to say ‘Hello’ and then wag’s her tail and looks for her head to be pet. She snuggles with everyone in the house and she is mouthy with everyone too. Lee loves to cuddle up next to her people or her canine companion.

Lee has been great with the children ages 3 and 8 years old in her foster home. She likes to cuddle with the kids and play hide and seek. The older kiddo loves taking Lee for walks and teaching her basic skills.

She walks quite well on her leash. She will bark at people/dogs that she sees but is easily redirected. She is a social pup and would like to say ‘Hello’ to everyone she comes across. She walks better alone then with her canine companion because all they do is play and we don’t get very far. We haven’t gone on any long walks and she seems to prefer walks just long enough to do her business and then she tends to head back home. She is a medium to high energy pup and plays more then she relaxes but when she has had the opportunity to be without the other foster dog for periods of time, she was more mellow. Lee would appreciate a couple short walks daily and some hands on playtime.

Lee is social! She does well with our other foster pup (1 yo female mix), and she is friendly to dogs she meets on walks. It seems she would adapt well to be an only dog and does fine with another dog. She would probably enjoy some periodic socialization if she is an only dog like the dog park or doggy daycare. Lee has no exposure to cats.

When left alone, she is crated. She is still a puppy so crating her keeps her from getting into puppy mischief. Lee goes willingly into her crate and settles right in.

She is a puppy, so we continue to work on potty training and redirecting her to appropriate chew toys. She is very sweet and would love to cuddle up next to her people. Her fur is super soft, and her bark is strong. She will be missed but we are excited for her to find her forever home.
