Kylo found his people June 14, 2021!

PUPDATE 3

Kylo stayed with us while his foster was out of town and he was the perfect house guest. He is the sweetest, little guy that just loves being near the people, wanting to climb on our laps as soon as we sat down. He also really enjoyed romping around with the (lots) of other dogs at our house and shared the toys well with the other dogs.

He figured out the potty system pretty quickly and had very few accidents as long as he was kept on a schedule. He settled in in the crate after a few minutes of voicing his disagreement with the arrangement. Treats (dental chews and filled Kong treat toys) helped him settle in a bit faster.

He met a ten year old and did well. He was excited to interact and play with her. He also has the cutest puppy snores. This handsome guy will make a great addition to just about any family.

PUPDATE 2

Kylo has been growing like a weed! I have learned that he LOVES to soak up some sun in the grass. He’s really been enjoying the nice weather with hanging outside more. He’s great at weed eating around the yard as well, he can take on any dandelion! Walking on a leash is coming along well! Gets a little distracted sometimes, but have found to bring a squeaker from a toy, and that is the best way to redirect his attention. He’s getting more confident with louder noises and is getting more interested rather than scared of them. Kylo can’t wait to meet his future cuddle buddy(s)!

PUPDATE 1

Kylo starts his mornings with breakfast and play time while I get ready for work. He is kenneled while I am gone for the day, on average around 9 hours. When work is done, he plays and naps and plays some more.

He does very well meeting people, always looking for a friend! She has no exposure to children.

Kylo has a bunch of energy, and then some! He’s always looking for something to do, so if you don’t keep him busy he will get himself into trouble. He does alright on the leash, gets easily distracted so is a work in progress.

He does very well with other dogs with a patient meeting.

Kylo wants to play with my cats, but they don’t always want to play with him. He will tear chunks of hair out of my long-haired cat from time to time, but is improving around them the longer he is here.

He will initially cry a little but does settle in fairly quickly. The more energy he gets out, the better he does when crated.

Kylo is an overall good boy! When outside, he gets startled by loud and new noises at times. Around Kylo, no shoe is safe! So puppy proofing is your best friend!
