JJ was adopted on September 5, 2020!

Jay Jay is up for a 6 am mile and a half walk every day. Followed by chewing on toys and hanging out with foster mom as she works from home. Lounging outside in the sun during lunch! Followed by hanging out and playing with the neighbor dog for a few hours. In the late afternoon, taking a nice long nap. Followed by another evening mile and a half walk to top the night off. Then usually relaxing and sleeping until the morning. At night, he sleep in his crate.

There are no children in the foster home but he does amazing with all adults. Male and female. He loves being around his humans and hanging out. He hasn't quite figured out how to snuggle up yet but he is learning fast. He is the sweetest angel you will meet.

Jay Jay has a high energy level. He needs to run throughout the day or lots of playing in the yard. You have to find things to keep him busy during the day or other dogs to play with. He is good on a leash for the most part. He does tend to have a mind of his own and wants to go another way but with training this will improve. He is already doing better every day.

Jay Jay is great with other dogs. He will do great. He is a follower not a leader. He LOVES to be around other dogs! He has seen cats but has never interacted with them. He is very curious, but I do not know how he would do up close.

Jay stays in the crate from 10 pm to 6 am and I leave him for 2-4 hr every couple days. He barks for a bit and then quiets down.  She should not be left alone in the house without being in a crate. He still chews on things he shouldn’t but he’s working on it.  He gets into too many things.

Jay is a wonderful dog and will be a great addition to a family. He is learning new things every day. He has a few bad habits, but they are all trainable. He is picking up things very quickly. He has the sweetest soul! He loves to be by his humans. He needs to be with a busy family that he can enjoy! He needs a lot of exercise but really enjoys running and is learning to enjoy fetch with a ball and Frisbee. Everyone he meets, adores him. Such a beautiful soul that needs to be loved!
