Meet your new shadow – Jackson! Jackson is a wiggly little guy that loves everything – his humans, his dog foster siblings, and all his stuffed toys. Though initially shy, Jackson opens up quickly and becomes your best friend. When first meeting someone new, he’s a little submissive and rolls onto his back. Once you rub his belly, he quickly realizes you’re one of his friends and he hopes the belly rubs continue. He loves his friends so much that he loves to give lots of kisses. We’ve nicknamed him the lizard, so beware if you don’t like dog kisses. Jackson is fully house-trained and will go to the bathroom in the fenced-in yard and on the leash as well. He is still working on keeping 4-paws on the floor when greeting his human friends. He knows he should sit before receiving his pets, but he just gets so excited he sometimes forgets without a reminder.
Jackson is a medium energy guy that plays for a little while, but then quickly decides it’s time to nap on the couch. It doesn’t matter who is with him on the couch – he loves to snuggle. Often, it’s his foster father while he drinks his coffee, but it can be one of his canine friends too. Either way, he makes sure he is as close as possible to his snuggle partner. If you like snuggles and a fun-loving goof, Jackson is your guy!
