Jack is a neutered male, purebred German Shepard, born in may 2021. He is a sweet, loving, and playful dog with high energy. He will be your loyal sidekick and best friend. He is fairly well trained and very willing to learn. He will bark at strangers and other dogs at first, but will quickly warm up to them and want to play. We like to say he barks to introduce himself! He is working on this as well as jumping. He is responding well to training with a vibration/beeping collar. He does have some extra health costs due to hip dysplasia. These costs include daily pain medicine, and supplements as well as physical therapy. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He loves to play with other dogs and behaves well with cats. He does have to be watched with small dogs and kids because he gets so excited and forgets how big he his while playing. He does currently live with 2 small dogs and a newborn and does do well with them. His current owners believe he will be happiest in a home where he can be the king and center of attention, with an owner he can protect and follow most of the day. He needs a good amount of room inside and outside. He is off leash trained to go potty, but needs to be harnessed for walks.
