Jack was officially adopted on April 26, 2021!
Jack gets up at 6:00 AM and goes outside to the backyard to go potty and then inside to eat. He goes out one more time before I leave for work at 7:00 AM and then spends the day gated off with his foster sister with toys, beds, and water. He is let out every 3-4 hours throughout the day as he is still a puppy. In the afternoon, he goes out to play in the backyard, and then eats again around 4:00 in the afternoon. Jack hangs out with use in the living room at night until about 10:00. He LOVES to cuddle on the couch and his favorite place is someone's lap!
Jack loves people! He is a very social pupper who enjoys hanging out with people. He does well with kids, but because of his small size would do better with kids a little older (not toddler age) who can be taught to be gentle. Jack is very playful, but doesn't enjoy super "rough" play.
He is a medium energy dog who loves to run around in the back yard and go on walks. His leash skills are progressing nicely!
Jack is good with other dogs but doesn't enjoy "rough" play and prefers his space if he is settled into a spot to relax and will let his foster sister know if she is being too wild or rough by giving her a snarl or nip if she doesn't get the hint.
Jack is totally great with my two cats.
He currently is gated off with his foster sister when I am gone with toys and his bed. He is currently 85-90% potty trained and has shown no destructive behaviors such as chewing on furniture or non-toy things in my house since he has been with me. He is a really good boy!
The Wisconsin vet noted two retained deciduous canine teeth. These retained teeth will likely fall out in the next two months otherwise surgical extraction might be necessary.
Jack is an all-around great dog who would do well in a family or with a single person. He is a great snuggler who is happiest sitting on someone's lap or keeping you company while you watch TV or read a book and he loves going on car rides, walks and hikes.
