PUPDATE 2

Kali has been the sweetest coworker for her foster parents his week! She came into office with them and had a great time. She took lots of naps, explored some new places, and made a ton of friends!

Kali is getting really good at “sit” and “down” and is trying her hand at “paw” and “stay” now. She’s learning quickly, especially when she gets lots of treats and praise!

PUDPATE 1

Kali is an easy pup who loves to cuddle with typical bursts of puppy energy. She wakes up pretty early ready for some attention and breakfast and then most of the day is happy to hang out and chew on her toys. She goes into her kennel to hang out for a couple hours in the middle of the day too. We take a couple breaks throughout the day to go on walks and play fetch, too!

Kali absolutely loves people! She's a little nervous meeting new people but warms up really quickly and is kind and curious when getting to know you. Out on walks she'll go to follow any person she walks by because she loves to make new friends!  Kali has not met kids yet.

She has typical puppy energy but is medium energy for pups her age. If she romps around for at least minutes a day and goes on a few walks, she'll be good to hang out most of the day. Kali is pretty good on a leash, just continuing to learn that she's not the one leading the walk.

Kali loves other dogs! She's had exposure to puppies, small dogs, and big dogs, and wants to play with all of them! She's met dogs in her home, in their home, and out in parks and it has gone well in every scenario. She loves to play and can hold her own with dogs of all sizes. Kali has no exposure to cats.

She is still learning how to feel comfortable being alone and will cry when in the kennel in a room by herself. We practice kennel time every day and are slowly but surely getting better at being alone!

Kali is a great pup and would make a wonderful addition to a variety of families! She is an easy girl who would be great for a first-time dog owner.
