Hunter found his forever home October 3, 2021!

Updates

Hunter gets up between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and goes out to the back yard to potty and play while I get ready for work. He comes in and has breakfast and then is let out again before I leave for work. When he first arrived he was crated while I was gone with no issue. I now leave the door to the crate open and he is often in his crate napping when I get home even though the door is open. He hangs out with my other dogs and cats while I am gone during the day. In the afternoon he is let out to the back yard again to potty and then we typically go for a walk. Hunter happily hangs out with us in the evening. He enjoys affection from his people, and likes to play with both his dog and human friends. Hunter enjoys toys and games.

Hunter is a super friendly boy whose tail never stops wagging. He enjoys meeting people out on walks or when we go places. He loves belly rubs and cuddling up with his people.

Hunter does well with kids as you can see in the photos above!

Hunter is a medium energy dog who, like most young dogs, needs a walk or two a day or time to run around in the yard and play to get his zoomies out. Hunter does well walking with a harness on.

Hunter gets along great with my two house cats.

Hunter spends his days with my other dogs so he is not entirely alone, but shows no signs of separation anxiety or destructive behaviors when I am gone.

Hunter is a great, friendly young dog who can't wait to find a family to call his own. He responds well to corrections and really wants to please his people. He has a goofy and fun personality that is very endearing.
