Updates
PUPDATE 2
Alan continues to do well in our home. We can tell him apart from his brother (Robin) by his cute white marking on his nose!! He is a getting to know our house routines now that we are all back to school and work. He gets up very early to eat and go potty and gets a lot of playtime in the morning. He is crated during the work day with a mid day potty/play break.
He has learned to walk on a leash and is going for one long walk each night. He still loves being outside, chewing sticks (and other outdoor items he isn’t supposed to chew!) He’s very vocal in his crate if he knows there are people around to play with him.
Alan still needs work on basic manners and potty training. He will benefit from structure and lots of playtime. Alan is going to make a great addition to a family who is looking for a high energy, fun-loving, loyal puppy!
PUPDATE 1
Alan wakes up around 6 am and immediately goes out for a potty break. He comes back in for breakfast and playtime. He is crated for up to 3 hours a day and then has lots of playtime, outside time and potty breaks in the evening.
Alan is great with people. He is very friendly and loves to chase and run around in the yard with the kids.
He lives with four human kids and does great with them. Alan is a bit nippy with our kids and will have to be redirected and learn to chew only on toys.
Alan is a high energy dog with a feisty and playful attitude. He is learning to walk on a leash but is still not totally comfortable with that.
Alan loves other dogs. He is respectful of boundaries but will also bark to engage them in play. He is fine with cats; he lived with one in his previous foster home.
When left alone, Alan has to be crated. He gets into a lot of mischief at home and is often found running around with a sock or baby toy in his mouth. He still barks some in his crate when left alone so he’d probably do best not in an apartment setting.
Alan has a fun, lively personality. He loves to chew sticks, play chase in the yard, and he absolutely loves to eat food and treats! He brings a lot of positive energy to our home and he is ready to find his forever family.
