Updates

Honey was adopted on November 9, 2020!

Honey is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet! She is perfectly content to follow her owner around while they get ready, then spend the rest of the day playing with her toys or sleeping. She is protective of her human and can bark when loud people or other dogs walk by the apartment door.  She is happy to go out on your schedule, currently once in the morning, once after work, and once right before bed. She loves cuddles and will nudge into your lap for pets!

With slow introductions, Honey will be sweet and affectionate with anyone! However, when outside on walks, she can get spooked by other people, especially if they're running. She will warm up to anyone willing to give her some affection and time.

Honey has not had exposure to children.

This gal is low energy! She is good with three short walks a day (10-15 minutes each) but cannot go on runs or long walks due to a mild injury on her shoulder. She is great on a leash, unless she sees another dog - she can get a bit spooked, she thinks she is protecting her owner.

She has lived with other dogs before and can warm up to them with slow introductions. Outside of the home on walks, she can get spooked by other dogs.

Honey has not been exposed to cats.

Honey is great when left alone, she will sleep or play with her toys. She has never chewed on anything inappropriate or had an accident in the house!

All Honey needs is a soft chew toy and some affection! She isn't particularly food motivated, but she lives for praise, pets, and cuddles! She will come lay her head in your lap when you are sitting down and is always happy to roll over for a stomach rub.
