Hershey has been with us for a week now and is the best boy. He loves to play fetch with squeaky toys and roll over for belly rubs. He is starting to learn 'sit', but he gets so excited for the treat he knows is coming, sometimes he will turn in circles instead! Hershey loves his people a lot, and will run up to us and immediately flop over for belly rubs. He is getting better at crate training - once you get him in the crate, he settles in pretty quick. He is medium to high energy, but will settle down quickly for cuddles or if you give him a chew. He's been a great work from home buddy so far. He is submissive toward other dogs, so could live with another dog. We have not observed him around cats or kids, although his foster in TX said he was good with both. We are still working on leash walking with Hershey - he gets VERY excited to go outside for walks and will pull. Overall, he is a pretty easy dog and would be great for an active, first-time dog owner!
