Updates
Our morning begins with hugs and nose boops for Harry! He's always happy to see us when we let him out of his crate. His little tail wags as we put him out for his morning potty time! Harry has a hard time deciding after that if he'd rather have cuddles or food, but we direct him toward eating. He runs and plays while we get ready for the day. He spends time playing with his foster-brother, our resident medium sized dog. He is ready for a nice long nap after a couple of hours and goes back to his crate for the time we are away at work.
Harry is overjoyed to see us when we return and the afternoon/evening is spent with dinner time, lots of snuggling, and of course play time! Harry loves to play and get lots of attention! He heads to bed around 9pm and after a few moments of restlessness, he settles into his crate for the night! Once he's asleep, he is normally quiet until morning.
Harry hasn't met a person he doesn't love. If you give him attention he'll be your best friend for life! He has had the chance to meet new people outside and inside the house. He has done great with everyone of all ages that he's met!
Harry has met a couple of children while we were out. He was very happy to meet them. He was gentle and accepted the pets with a wiggly, happy bottom!
Harry can be described as medium energy. He loves to play and interact, but after a time he gets tired and is ready to rest. We give him lots of space and toys, along with time to play with our resident dog. When he's ready to rest, he plops himself under the dining room table for a nap. Harry enjoys walks! The smells and new things to see are exciting to him. Harry is new to walking on the leash and is in the process of learning his leash manners.
Harry was recently with his litter and comes with the exposure to being with other dogs. We could tell right away that he was comfortable with our resident dog. When out on walks, he doesn't react to other dogs we see along the way. He mostly ignores other barking dogs and it doesn't seem to upset him.
Harry has not had any interaction with cats while with us.
Harry is crated when he is alone in the house or at night. It does take him a few moments to settle down, but once he does he is quiet.
Harry's a roly poly floof ball full of love. He is gentle and seems to just want someone to show him attention. His adorable face and big heart are ready to accept his furever family.
Harry is a puppy that has only been with us a few days so he is new to potty and crate training. He seems to be a people pleaser, so other command training will likely go well.
