Josie loves to snuggle in bed with her person at night. She sleeps in and is ready to go out to potty and have breakfast whenever you are. Josie likes to intermittently nap throughout the day. She enjoys long walks and hanging out on the couch.
Josie is initially hesitant with new people but warms up very quickly. She loves everyone in the home.
Josie has not had a lot of exposure to children. She jumps when she gets excited, so she would need close supervision with small children. Generally, she is very gentle and would be great with siblings who are old enough to approach gently.
Josie does great with one good walk per day. She likes to take lots of naps, alternated with quick toy interactions, snuggles, and potty breaks. She gets highly excited when her human returns home from being away and is working on not jumping up. Only takes a few minutes for her to settle down.
Josie is very gentle and comfortable approaching other dogs. She is not interested in wrestling and can be overwhelmed by high energy dogs. If she had doggie siblings, she would need them to have a similar energy level.
Josie has not been exposed to cats.
Josie does not enjoy being left alone in the crate, although she is willing to sleep in the crate as long as she is in the same room. After some evidence of crate frustration, she has been left to free roam during the day. She has snagged an item or two off of a table, but she is not destructive.
Josie is a super sweetheart. She would love a forever family who would give her lots of love and attention. She will repay with kisses and snuggles.
