Adopted on November 9, 2020!
I wake up around 7 am and go outside for a potty break and some play time with my foster brother or snuggle up until it’s time to eat at 9 am. I curl up next to my foster human's workplace after eating breakfast, around lunch time we get to go for a short walk! Throughout the afternoon I'll nap or play with my foster brother, we get along great! We then all go for a longer walk or hike around 5 pm, sometimes I get to meet other dogs! When we get back home it's then time for dinner around 6 pm. We go out for the last potty break of the night around 10 pm and then snuggle up for bed.
So far I haven't meet a human I didn’t like! I have been around a large number of adults and love them all, so many belly rubs! I have only been around a few kids, one girl who was 7 years old and I was great! I had so much fun. But we never went inside (because of this virus the human keeps talking about).
I think I'd do great with any kids with slow introductions!
I'm still a puppy, so at times the human says that I get the zoomies! With a companion dog, I will only need short walks and play time, but if I'm the solo dog walks will be very important.
The human says that I walk pretty well on a leash, but when I see a squirrel I really want to chase it! They say that I am not scared of cars and did great walking on busier streets!
I've meet a few of my foster dogs’ friends! We do great (mostly younger and smaller dogs). This week the human has been trying to let me meet other dogs on walks and that has gone well so far! Slow introductions are best though, I can get a little nervous.
I have not meet cats yet.
I do not like being alone. The foster human currently works from home so that's great! We are working on crate training, but so far I'm not a huge fan. I do whine, when I can't see the humans at times, but do not bark much!
I'm super cuddly and love all the belly rubs! Although I'm a bigger dog I think I'm a lap dog and just want to love my new family!
