Donatello found his forever people on November 15, 2020!
Donatello usually wakes up with the family around 6 am. He has his breakfast (which he is always ready for!) and heads outside immediately after to go potty. After this, he is ready to play and usually takes a 30 minute walk each day. He settles down in his crate at night for bed around 9pm.
He is always wanting to play with his people! Kids are his very favorite! Of course, since he is a puppy, he does give puppy bites and needs redirection as he learns how to show he loves us!
Donatello enjoys the energy of our 4 children in his foster home (they are ages 6-12). He feeds off their energy and they love to run and play together! Donatello would love a home with young children to grow up with.
Donatello usually wants to play when he is awake! He does take several puppy naps still, since he is only a few months old. If he needs a rest, we show him into his crate, and he usually sleeps in there. He will let you know when he is ready to play again!
He has been fostered with other dogs. His current foster "sister" is 5 months old, and they love to play together! We always supervise their play to ensure that they are learning good play manners and are ready to take a "time out" when needed!
Donatello has not been tested around cats.
He is usually crated when left alone, because he is still a baby! He likes to listen to the radio when we are gone, and he usually settles down in his crate and waits for someone to return!
Donatello is very food-motivated and enjoys treats on his walks and in his play. He is currently mastering "sit" and is doing great! He loves to play with various toys and loves the company of his humans. :)
