Dolly will wake you up in the morning (~7 or 8 AM) with a TON of kisses and cuddles - not to forget belly rubs! She then likes to go outside to the bathroom right away to do her business, followed by breakfast (likes to eat all of it within a short time frame - doesn't graze all day) and then play time. Dolly has a lot of energy in the morning, so a walk or run helps to get some of that energy out! She takes some naps throughout the day, but really loves to be active and get outside so she will sleep throughout the night.
She is great with people, won't leave her owner's side and can instantly make friends with humans! Loves to say “hi” to people while on a walk, so she occasionally jumps on them but is learning to not do that (she is extremely smart). Other than that, Dolly will lay on anyone while lying on the couch, searching for attention however she can get it.
Dolly is such a sweet pup! She is so caring with children - likes to give them tons of kisses and ask for pets.
She has a lot of energy, as any cattle dog does! As a young pup, she needs a good amount of exercise per day -- loves going on long walks and running around, playing with other dogs.
Dolly loves to play with other dogs, even those she just met - will do best with slow intros for dogs she will live with. No exposure to cats in her foster home.
Dolly whines a little when in her crate but sleeps and does well in there besides that. If left out, she likes to get a hold of random objects and chew on them because she knows no one is there to tell her not to (again, she is very smart).
She has some tartar accumulation present. She will need a dental in the next 1-2 years. In the meantime, recommend feeding dental treats to help prevent further tartar accumulation.
The sweetest pup I have ever met!! Dolly really loves and cares about her owner(s) and friends!
